Breadables began with two gluten-intolerant sisters who shared a passion for perfectly soft and delicious breads. Understanding the struggles that gluten-intolerant individuals deal with when choosing gluten-free bread alternatives, they felt that most options on the market lacked the chewy pliability, soft texture and delicate flavour profile that really good bread has. Desiring something better for themselves and the entire gluten-free community, they began a journey to create the best gluten-free bread mix available
After hundreds of tests and attempts, one of the sisters finally found the perfect gluten-free flour blend for creating Indian flatbreads and tortillas. She conducted hundreds more cooking sessions and taste tests within the gluten-sensitive community and realized that this mix was exactly what she envisioned when she and her sister began their Breadables journey.
Now, she is happy to share her passion with bread lovers around the world, hoping to give those who are sensitive and intolerant that beautifully chewy and fluffy bread experience that they’ve been missing.
Today, Breadables has become more than just a flour producing company. It contribution research and development of knowledge base for the understanding of celiac disease, and began donating a portion of sales from each bag of its product to Canadian Celiac Association with a pledge to continue along side its journey.
