REFUND, RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY

OVERVIEW At Breadables Inc., we are committed to providing premium gluten-free flour products. As a food manufacturer, we adhere to strict food safety protocols. This policy outlines our procedures for refunds, damages, and cancellations to ensure transparency and safety for all our customers in Canada and the United States.
SECTION 1 - NO RETURNS ON FOOD PRODUCTS Due to the perishable nature of our products and strict food safety regulations, we strictly do not accept returns of opened bags.
Once a food product has left our facility, we cannot guarantee its safety, storage conditions, or freedom from cross-contamination. Therefore, for the safety of all consumers, we cannot accept opened or unopened food products back into our inventory. Please do not mail products back to our facility.
SECTION 2 - ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENTS While physical returns are not accepted, we stand behind the quality of our products. You are eligible for a full refund or free replacement under the following specific circumstances:

Damaged in Transit: The external packaging is significantly damaged, resulting in exposed flour, punctures, or moisture penetration.

Product Defect: The product appears spoiled, contains foreign objects, or the seal was broken prior to arrival.

Incorrect Item: We shipped a product that does not match your order confirmation.

Short-Dated Product: You received a product with an expiration date of less than 30 days from the date of delivery (unless sold explicitly as "Clearance" or "Short-Dated").
SECTION 3 - NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS To maintain fair pricing for all customers, Breadables Inc. generally denies refund requests in the following situations:

Taste & Texture Preferences: Taste is subjective. We do not offer refunds because a product did not meet your personal flavor or texture expectations.

Recipe Failure / Baking Performance: We guarantee the quality and specifications of our flour, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of your specific recipe, technique, or oven calibration. Baking with gluten-free flour requires specific hydration and methods; failure of a recipe does not constitute a product defect.

Improper Storage: We are not responsible for spoilage or pest infestation that occurs after the product has been delivered and is in your care. Flour must be stored in a cool, dry, and airtight environment.

Sale & Clearance Items: Items marked as "Sale," "Clearance," or "Final Sale" are not eligible for refunds unless they arrive damaged.
SECTION 4 - REPORTING DAMAGES (MANDATORY PROCESS) To process a claim, you must contact us within three (3) days of delivery. Claims made after this window may be denied as we cannot verify if damage occurred during shipping or after delivery.
Steps to Request a Refund:

Do not discard the product until you have contacted us.

Take clear photographs of:

The damaged packaging/product.

The shipping box/label.
-
The Lot Number and Best Before Date printed on the bag.

Email these photos along with your Order Number to gfbreadables@gmail.com.
Once approved, we will process a replacement order or a refund to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
SECTION 5 - SHIPPING ISSUES & LIABILITY
1. Incorrect Addresses: Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. Breadables Inc. is not responsible for orders delivered to the wrong address due to customer error. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the cost of the product and shipping is non-refundable because the food product must be discarded upon return.
2. Stolen Packages: Our responsibility ends when the carrier marks the package as "Delivered." We are not liable for packages stolen from your porch or mailbox. We recommend shipping to a secure location.
3. Refused Shipments: If you refuse delivery of a package without prior authorization, you will not be refunded. Refused food shipments are often destroyed by the carrier or spoil during the return trip; therefore, we cannot recover the value of the goods.
4. Weather Delays: We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by severe weather or carrier disruptions beyond our control.
SECTION 6 - USA ORDERS (DUTIES & CURRENCY)
1. Customs & Duties: For customers in the United States, orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT) which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Breadables Inc. is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.
2. Currency Fluctuations: All prices are charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise displayed. If you are purchasing from the US, your bank will convert the charge to USD based on their daily exchange rate. Refund amounts may differ slightly from the original charge amount due to currency exchange rate fluctuations between the date of purchase and the date of refund. We do not control these bank rates.
SECTION 7 - CANCELLATION POLICY We strive to fulfill orders as quickly as possible.

Cancellation Window: You may cancel or modify your order before 1:00 PM PST on the same business day the order was placed.

Late Cancellation: Once a shipping label has been generated and the package has been handed to the carrier, the order is final and cannot be cancelled or refunded.
SECTION 8 - LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS If you haven’t received a refund yet:

Check your bank account again.

Contact your credit card company (it may take 5-10 business days before your refund is officially posted).
